Getting some stretches whilst at your desk.

Ever felt that you’re getting a bit stiff sitting at your desk? I know I do. However, I’ve recently learned that there is something that you can do about it. So if you want to avoid bad posture and dodgy hips there are several stretches that you can do when in the office. There is a very good rule to remember about office work or any time. If you sit around for fifty minutes you should move around for 10 minutes to make up for it. Having a neat desk is part of the equation. In terms of stretches there are several either ones. First of all stay sat down. Steeple the fingers and reach out in front of you as far as you can.  Secondly stand up, steeple the fingers and reach up above your head as far as you can. Keeping the arms above your head slightly bend to the left and then to the right. Do this for 10 to 15 seconds. The last one is to put your hands into  the praying position in front of your tummy. All you have to do is reverse the position so that your hands are pointing down.

These are just gentle stretches and exercises that are a good starting point.
