Daily habits that will make you a millionaire

A disciplined person is able to give up momentary pleasure to reach his long-term goals. Of course, to be disciplined you have to have habits that are practiced daily. Only constant people can transform their lives.

Habits can change the direction of our lives. Some people have painful habits (such as gossiping), while others have powerful attitudes (such as praising others). No matter who you are or where you come from, your habits can build or destroy you. What are your habits and where are they taking you?

People ask me all the time what my daily habits are, what time I wake up, what I do in the morning. These questions make me laugh because they are the same questions I asked myself as I started on my way to success. The only difference between you and me is that you will know the answers right now.

Here are 10 daily habits that will make you a millionaire:

1. To study
First of all, you should not spend a single day without learning something new. Learning can come in many ways. Personally, I study a minimum of three hours a day. This includes some practices such as reading the dictionary, consulting books, watching videos, talking to my coach, writing, and so on.

Of all these activities, reading is the most important. Every day, without fail, I try to assimilate as many ideas as possible. I leave my cell phone in another room while I dive in my books, since I can afford not to dine, but not to not learn.

2. Setting Goals
Every day you have to set goals. I always write what I want to accomplish every day, month year and decade. This process fascinates me because it forces me to think big and overcome the small problems of life.

Let’s say your goal is to have a life of opulence in the next 10 years. If you want to reach this goal, you must list the ideas that can help you achieve it. For example, your listing may include having a 10 bedroom house, a private jet, a Rolls-Royce, and so on.

3. Planning
You can set yourself thousands of goals, but you need a strategy to achieve it. First, you need to break down those 10 years into years, months, weeks, and days. Once you have “disarmed” your goals in smaller parts, you must devise the actual steps and actions you must take to achieve these results.

One of my clients wanted to be a professional chatterer. However, he did not know how to plan it. I told him I had to watch 120 lectures a year, 10 a month. Once we did this decomposition, he realized that his goals were more realistic.

4. Networking
In this millennium we have thousands of ways to be connected. To make effective contacts, you need to be a producer, not a consumer. That means networking aggressively, not passively. Do not wait for mail or calls, but make the effort to contact others.

I use the “Rule of 10”, where I make 10 calls and send 10 emails a day. Apart from this, I constantly make videos, give talks, write articles, and so on. I also publish daily on my social networks.

5. Keeping a journal
We all need moments to think. In order to effectively order your ideas, you need to keep a diary. This will help you to reflect and ask serious questions about your life. In addition, you will be able to take control of your stories, people you know, ideas, jokes, lessons, appointments, successes, failures and more.

Each day, write a minimum of four pages in your journal. I have two dozen blogs to date. They helped me to reflect on my greatest successes, obstacles and opportunities. Sometimes I write intensely for an hour. When I check my journals, I understand better how my path has been. By the way, it never hurts to leave notes for future generations.

6. Exercise
To be successful in life, your body must be able to function at its best. Your mind is always asking for unexpected things and you must be prepared to fulfill them. The best way to prepare your body is to exercise it, even if it is inconvenient. Once your body is prepared for the opportunities, you will be able to navigate the oceans of success.

Imagine feeling the sweat that comes after a good workout. It’s a great feeling, right? So why debate whether or not you should get moving? Develop the habit of exercising three to five times a week for at least an hour. Not only will you increase your stamina, you will also get more out of your days.

7. Relax
Only the truly powerful people know how to rest. After all, those are the moments where they strengthen their power. Many people are so tense whenever they “burn”. When you become stressed, you lose concentration and control. A person who does not know how to relax, loses the time he could have taken advantage of.

You have to clear yourself from time to time. Look for a healthy discipline that reassures you. Sometimes, I cook a big dinner or go for a walk in my neighborhood. At other times I play jazz music or talk with a loved one. Even in the middle of an important delivery date, these activities help me manage the vicissitudes of life. Worry is the worst expense of imagination that exists.

8. Affirm
Every day you talk to yourself. The common human does this practice 12 thousand times a day. The difference between a successful person and another who is not, is what he says to himself. The things you say to your person dramatically alter your life.

The other day I heard someone say, “I wish I was half as successful as that person.” Although it is a positive thought, you should want more than just half of another human being.

9. Practice your skills
Every day you must work on improving your talents. Each of us has innate gifts that must be exercised continuously. If you do not use it, you lose it. Mastery takes years to cultivate, but if you are willing to be the best at what you do, you will not have competition.

10. Form a support system
Successful people have learned how to organize their relationships. This means that their closest people feed them mentally, spiritually and emotionally. People may see you as a solitary entrepreneur, but the truth is that all your loved ones are behind you.

However, this is not easy. It takes time to surround yourself with the right people. More importantly, these relationships will be shaped naturally as you learn more about your work. Eventually, that carefully selected team will bring out the best in you and help you overcome the major obstacles you face.

All these habits require the greatest discipline in the world. You must communicate your needs to others so they can support you.
