The answer came quite unexpectedly and turned into another sitcom juggernaut for the next 12 years. A simple sitcom of 4 geeks and a pretty girl who lived next door was going to take off big time. It was the Big Bang theory.
Written by the same team as Roseanne (and featuring some of the key staffers from that show), The Big Bang Theory started calmly enough.
