Bridgewater is a historical, market town in the county of Somerset where the local population are trying to work together to bring about environmentally friendly sustainability and increase biodiversity throughout their homes and gardens.  The Royal Horticultural Society Garden in Bridgewater is encouraging the enthusiastic residents by showing them how best to care for the landscape. The hot topics of Climate Change and Global Warming are changing how ordinary people plant, sow and reap the benefits of fresh vegetables and beautiful seasonal flowers. Not only are they Recycling, Reusing and Repairing many more everyday items they are investing in their homes, trying to reduce their own personal Carbon Footprints, bring down their energy consumption and gas and electricity bills. Many families who live in the older style houses in the area have also invested in new Windows and Doors Bridgwater, so that they can have warmer, safer homes as well as be environmentally friendly.

There are now patchworks of natural habitats emerging all across Bridgewater where hopefully a rich variety of birds, bats and other small mammals will not only survive but breed and thrive, helping natures natural wildlife to flourish.

Individual homes are transforming their gardens and allotments all over the town of Bridgewater and are helping to create a much more natural environment, as well as planting fresh, healthy vegetables for themselves and their families and friends to eat. Investing in their homes with new windows and doors not only increases the value of their premises, it makes them a lot more environmentally friendly.
